Frequently Asked Questions

We offer full parts and labor warranties as well as standard or extended warranties. Standard warranties provide coverage for 30-60 days and extended warranties cover your system for 1 to 5 years depending on your budget and desired level of coverage. For portable ultrasound systems, we offer depot repair warranties, which means the machine would be shipped to Probo’s warehouse for repair and service if or when it was needed. Your warranty will depend on whether it’s a refurbished system, repair, part or probe. Contact your sales representative for the warranty for your purchase.

Yes! For systems, we offer service contracts from one to five years. Pricing is determined upon inspection, type of system, and age of system. 

Yes, Probo offers virtual and in-person applications training, with CME credits available on applications training by our experianced specialists. The sonographer will train and support your staff and technicians as they set up the ultrasound machine purchased from Probo. Training includes configuring application presets and reviewing the system knobology and workflow. Talk to your sales representative about the virtual and in-person applications training options.

Printed user manuals are no longer offered by manufacturers, however, we have a large library of digital ultrasound user manuals. Additionally, most customers opt for our virtual or in-person applications training by our licensed sonographers.

Yes, Probo Medical offers technical support for networking your ultrasound system to your network if supported by the ultrasound machine you purchased. Assistance in connecting to your network will be a part of your applications training and should be discussed with your sales representative prior to purchase. Additional fees may be incurred in more complicated network setups.

If you need financing for your purchase, Probo Medical has preferred relationships with lenders who are experts in capital equipment purchases. Our relationships offer competitive rates as well as the knowledge and experience in ultrasound machine financing.
