Job Description:

The Parts Testing Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the full functionality of inventoried Ultrasound parts. In addition, the Parts Testing Engineer will perform ultrasound part testing validation and troubleshooting. They will properly diagnose all system and part issues and help identify areas of repair where needed. The Parts Testing Engineer will possess a detailed system knowledge of ultrasound functionality, and the ability to correctly validate part functionality across multiple Ultrasound models and manufacturers. The Parts Testing Engineer will also assist, technical phone support, parts identification, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Duties:

  • Validates system and part functionality through proven test procedures.
  • Proper identifies all failures, if applicable
  • Maintains clean and organized workstation.
  • Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulations.
  • 100% ESD compliance when handling parts
  • Successfully troubleshoots all issues of systems/parts, resolving issues in a timely
  • manner.
  • Ability to install software application programs.
  • Manages tools and repair inventory needs.
  • Manages system test bed fleet, ensuring all test equipment is proper logged and
  • maintained according to ISO 13485 standards.
  • Assists in part packaging/proper labeling if needed.
  • Must be comfortable assisting/researching/solving technical questions over phone.
  • Must be able to validate and confirm ultrasound part numbers using manuals, online
  • resources, etc.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Associates Degree or a combination of education and relative experience
  • 2-3 years in an ultrasound field service, ultrasound repair, or service support
  • environment.
  • 3rd party medical device testing/repair experience a plus
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot/diagnose electrical and mechanical failures.
  • Proven ability to read and understand schematics and OEM manuals.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Job Description: 

The Component Repair Engineer plays a crucial role ensuring our medical imaging parts inventory is properly repaired, tested, and validated to their original specifications. The Component Repair Engineer is a highly specialized role where you will be asked to repair a multiple of medical imaging parts from multiple manufactures and modalities, including but not limited to, electronic boards, power supplies, monitors, user interfaces, etc. The Component Repair Engineer will also be asked to perform part number validations, technical assistance to our field engineers and customer service, in addition to properly logging workflows in our system.

Quality/Safety

  • 100% ESD compliance when handling/repairing parts
  • Properly validates repairs through validated system and/or bench testing
  • Performs secondary quality checks on repaired/tested parts
  • Performs customer warranty validation through proper testing/evidence finding
  • Properly documents results/findings on tested/repaired parts in ERP system
  • Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulations

Repair Operations

  • Proven ability to solder/de-solder
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics theory

  • 2-3 years in a component level repair environment, 3rd party an component repair a plus

  • Must be able to pass a basic electronics test
  • Experience with medical imaging systems, specifically ultrasounds a plus

Job Description: 

The Quality Technician is responsible for testing a wide variety of ultrasound probes to determine whether or not they meet organization’s established functional and cosmetic standards.  The position is responsible for documenting the results, uploading all images to organization’s database and determining what path the product needs to flow through the Organization.  The Quality Technician is a critical role within Probo and we are willing to extensively train the right person to be successful.

Job Duties:

  • Optimize ultrasound system settings for test result accuracy.
  • Determine if Doppler color and/or CW artifacts exists with probes.
  • Interpret “First Call” diagnostic reports for quality conformance and repair needs.
  • Determine grade of ultrasound probes based on established standards.
  • Work with internal resources to determine what repairs can be accomplished.

Job Description:

The Territory Manager for Probo Medical LLC will visit accounts with the goal of developing a professional relationship and educating the client on Probo Medical LLC offerings. The position will develop a client base within a 3-to-4-hour geographical radius to service diagnostic ultrasound equipment and offer client solutions  based on their specific need. Those solutions include, but are not limited to, ultrasound service, ultrasound probe repair, ultrasound system sales, replacement probe sales, rentals, training, and system applications. Probo Medical LLC is the world’s largest provider of multi-OEM ultrasound equipment. Duties include but are not limited to:

Job Duties:

  • Work to learn and establish rapport with customers.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Generate revenue growth by offering solutions and products aligned
  • with the service portfolio. 
  • Provide timely responses to service requests.
  • Complete and submit applicable field service reports for invoicing.
  • Develop a profitable territory performing service, selling service contracts, parts, systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all manufacturers and models by studying manuals, attending training, reaching out to co-workers and all other available resources.  
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve issues as they arise when doing service calls.  
  • Adhere to internal procedures regarding defective probes and parts, unused equipment, call escalation, warranties, and finance policies.
  • Performs all administrative duties within established Probo Medical and regulatory timeframes including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, preventative maintenance (PM), installation documents, site and service documentation, and other related paperwork.
  • May be asked to perform service work remotely providing telephone, remote technical support, and remote diagnostics to external healthcare customers and field partners to resolve customer equipment issues and initiate escalation, if appropriate.
  • Responsible for the delivery and installation of an ultrasound system sold within your geographical radius. This will consist of being on site, making sure the equipment works, satisfying client expectations and learning the client’s ultrasound equipment portfolio and needs.

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Associate Degree in electronics (BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred) or 2 years’ equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with diagnostic ultrasound equipment is highly preferred, especially within a field service environment.
  • Knowledge of computers; PC competency to include utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • An established customer base is a plus.

Job Description:  The Inside Sales Specialist for Probo Medical, LLC, working remotely and reporting to the Director of Regional Sales will lead the development of retail clients, i.e. Hospitals, Imaging Centers, Physician offices, within a designated regional territory. This position will work collaboratively with the Regional Outside Sales Specialist and Engineers. Duties include but are not limited to:

Job Duties:

  • Identify, hunt, and cultivate new areas of opportunity to exceed regional goals
  • Assist in the cultivation and on-boarding of hospitals and IDN networks.
  • Work directly with regional teammates and other Probo sales staff to complete all vendor approval paperwork and navigate the hospital system vendor process.
  • Work with accounting to get hospital accounts set up with terms and any credit checks needed.
  • Make introductions and help set up meetings for the Outside Sales Specialist and Engineers 
  • Assist with any RFP opportunities.
  • Spearhead and organize all regional business helping to assure yearly goal attainment 
  • Maintain all individual activity and monitor regional sales reports in Salesforce providing leadership market analytics and development/execution of strategies and action plans
  • Develop long-term customer relationships with both new and existing customer base

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of medical device sales industry experience. 
  • Previous sales experience is a must.  
  • Strong organization and communication skills, 
  • Be a self-starter and work well as a member of a team or independently on several items simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft office is preferred.
