Providian Medical would like to congratulate Julian Ramirez of Lathrop High School on being the Winter 2014 Providian Medical Scholarship winner.
Mr. Ramirez submitted a thought-provoking essay on the importance of immunology, how technology has changed the field of immunology over the years, and how these changes are some of the most important advances in medicine.
Mr. Ramirez is the fourth recipient of the bi-annual Providian Medical Scholarship, which we began in 2013 to help students cover the rising costs of a college education.
