Transcript to System Setup on the Chison SonoTouch 30 point-of-care ultrasound machine
Now for system setup, we’re going to go to Others and choose this last that we have not been through yet. This takes you through your hospital name, the department, current date and time, how many cine frames you want– 64, 128, or 256.
You can save, if you want to automatically save the cine or the images. Do you want to save them to the local hard disk, or the U disk? When you save an image, do you want only the image? Or do you want the part across the top that shows the image and patient information? Or do you want the part that shows the entire screen, with all the parameters on there.
Here we have our measurements. For OB, you’ll want to check whatever you’re using for the proper OB measurements to get your estimated fetal weight calculations and other such. Custom annotations, you can add them here. You would choose the library that you want. You can add and modify in the annotation library, or the quick annotation.
The next tab, DICOM, we won’t cover in this part. This is something you would go through with your IT professional, who would know the proper parameters to put in there. UI, you can customize the User Interface, and how it looks– colors for your measurements, active or non-active, location of the Close button on the left or right hand side. Some Mac people may want it on the left hand side.
How long do you want a screen saver to appear? If you want one you click there, and you would move it. And the general controls, how do you want those colors to appear on the screen? It’s a lot of different options here. Touchscreen for calibrating the touchscreen, or changing its overall sensitivity. Net would cover your network settings. Again, this would be for your IT professional.
System, this is where you would go to do various settings for your system, or if there’s some sort of upgrade, or you have any sort of issue with the system. The service professional would ask you to come to this screen, and give you parts about the version, hardware version, software version, and the serial number. And that concludes the training on the Chison SonoTouch 30 Portable Ultrasound machine.
