At Probo Medical, our day job is to drive down worldwide healthcare costs by providing budget-conscious equipment and repair solutions. Our “why” is to transform lives across the globe by improving universal access to affordable healthcare.
We believe that cost saved should equal lives saved, which is why we have committed to donating ultrasound machines and corresponding probes to underserved communities all over the world. The existing supply of quality equipment donated to charitable organizations or available for low cost is failing to meet the growing demand, and we are passionate about doing our part to help. Our vision is to provide high-quality reconditioned ultrasound equipment responsibly to hospitals and other qualified facilities globally to improve access to life-saving medical imaging.
We have donated equipment over the past two years to birthing centers, teaching hospitals, refugee camps, and multi-purpose clinics in the following areas:
--Guyana, South America
--Iraq, Middle East, Asia
--The Philippines, Asia
--Honduras, Central America
--Guatemala, Central America
This equipment will be used not only to detect life-threatening conditions and improve reproductive health in underserved communities, but will hopefully serve as a vehicle for lasting change in the healthcare industry. Our outreach program is a vital part of our company culture here at Probo, and we are committed to donating equipment wherever it's needed most as long as we're in business.
