Job Description: The Component Repair Engineer based in Tampa, FL

Ultrasound plays a crucial role in ensuring our medical imaging parts inventory is properly repaired, tested, and validated to their original specifications. The Component Repair Engineer is a highly specialized role where you will be asked to repair multiple medical imaging parts from multiple manufacturers including but not limited to, electronic boards, power supplies, monitors, user interfaces, etc. The Component Repair Engineer will also be asked to perform part number validations, develop new repairs in addition to properly logging workflows in our system.

Job Duties:

  • 100% ESD compliance when handling/repairing parts.
  • Properly validates repairs through specified medical system and/or bench testing.
  • Develops and documents new repairs for parts in need.
  • Properly follows repair priority process daily.
  • Logs on repair and testing information in ERP system.
  • Follows step down decisions via test results in ERP system, properly locating (or scrapping) part assets post testing.
  • Develops and documents new repairs.
  • Manages tools and repair inventory needs.
  • Assists in other operational duties as directed by manager.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or a combination of education and relative experience.
  • 2-3 years in a component level repair environment, 3rd party medical device component repair a plus.
  • Proven repair track record.
  • Soldering skills.
  • Proven ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Must be able to pass a basic electronics test.
  • Experience with medical imaging systems, specifically ultrasounds a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience with customer technical support a plus.
  • Experience in ISO certification(s) and document writing a plus.

The OPS Associate position based in Fishers, Indiana for Probo Medical, LLC works in a production environment and executes department standard processes. Duties include but are not limited to:

Job Type: Full-time

Job Duties:

  • Disinfecting Ultrasound probes.
  • First Call probes.
  • Perform Leakage Test on Ultrasound probes.
  • Take standardized pictures of Ultrasound probes.
  • Document and track all production efforts to ensure quality metrics are attained.
  • Adapt, learn, and apply production improvements in a team atmosphere.
  • Safely disassemble ultrasound equipment using common handheld and small power tools.
  • Follow safe practices relating to infection control, hazardous materials and mechanical loads and industry compliance standards.
  • Perform refurbishment activities including, but not limited to cleaning, sanding, painting, and buffing.
  • Safely assemble ultrasound equipment according to strict quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work and cooperate well on a team so team objectives are met.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and perform the same task repeatedly.

Minimum Qualification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical and/or construction experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The Certified Cardiac Monitor Technician based in Vista, CA requires strong cardiac EKG recognition and interpretation skills. This position also requires PC proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Review patient’s ECG data for clinical accuracy.
  • Effectively recognize ECG abnormalities and clearly reports information to physicians as required according to notification protocol.
  • Produce the final report delivered to the physician and perform report format modifications and additions as requested by physician.
  • Continuously develop and perfect ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • Looking for local to vista, CA or surrounding close cities is preferred.
  • Proficient with Philips Zymed preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, or other specialty providing ECG interpretation
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of complex cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Associate degree or two years college course work preferred.
  • Certified Cardio Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 90 days of hire; other related certifications or licenses may qualify (i.e. RN or Paramedic)
  • Intermediate level PC proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology specifically regarding Cardiology and EKG interpretation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to provide high quality reports to our clients.
