Probo Medical’s Donation Program Going Strong

Probo Medical’s President, David Trogden, and his wife Casey recently had the opportunity to visit Tabarre, Haiti, to see one of our donated ultrasound systems in action! David and Casey stopped by St. Damien’s Pediatric Hospital on their trip last month, which is the only pediatric hospital in all of Haiti.

To date, Probo has donated over 50 ultrasound systems and more than 100 probes to countries all over the world. We have sent 20+ systems to Haiti alone, and David and Casey were grateful for the opportunity to see the impact we are making in person.

While in the area, David and Casey also visited Mission of Hope Haiti. Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti through food provision, schooling for children and church advancement. Probo Medical donated 15 indestructible soccer balls to the Mission’s orphanage. In Haiti’s rough terrain, these soccer balls will be invaluable for children to be able to play as much soccer as they want!

Probo’s mission is to deliver the perfect transducer at wholesale cost to every customer, every time, but our company is so much more than that. We live by our core value: Probo, which means honest, decent, and virtuous in Latin. We hope that through our donations program and various other outreach initiatives, we can continue to impact our community and world in a positive way while simultaneously driving down healthcare costs across the globe.
